One characterful chair can give a quiet corner a whole new purpose.
Read the note ↗01 / A room with a story to tell
Start with something you love. It might be a favourite print, a comfortable chair or a piece with a lovely texture. Let the rest of the room grow around it, leaving space for the things you have yet to find.
A little contrast helps: a soft fabric beside a hard surface, a dark frame against a pale wall. A room becomes interesting when every piece has a reason to be there.
02 / The joy of everyday things
Beautiful objects need not be kept for special occasions. An interesting glaze or an unexpected colour can bring a little pleasure to the most ordinary part of the day.
03 / Make room for a favourite
A chair, a light and somewhere to put a cup. Keep it simple, make it comfortable and give yourself a place to slow down.
